Asina Ellen (Karlsen) Alcott, 46, of Nashua, passed away Saturday morning, August 10, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a very brief illness.
Asina was born in Nashua on November 27, 1972, daughter of Kare and Anne (Loiacono) Karlsen. She was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1990 and furthered her education at the University of New Hampshire where she earned a Master’s degree in education.
She began her career as a speech therapist at the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, NH, then in Rochester, NH and later as Director of Special Education for the Auburn School District. Asina then began a new career in modeling.
Asina is survived by her son, Reidar Kelsall of Nashua; her parents, Kare and Anne Karlsen of Nashua; a brother, Roy Karlsen and his wife Veronica; a nephew, Ivan Karlsen; three nieces, Adela Karlsen, Maranda and Mariah Parent; her father-in-law, Robert Kelsall; sister-in-law, Nicole Cullinan; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Saturday, August 24th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.
