Patrick Edward Jamieson

JAMIESON, PATRICK E

Patrick Edward Jamieson, affectionately known as “Wagner,” passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 73.

Patrick was born in Chicago and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois, the seventh son of ten spirited siblings. As a boy, he spent winter days skating on Prince Pond, and even more time recounting the stories of those days with dramatic flair.

He began his career in construction, with a passion for keeping others safe on the job. That dedication led him from Illinois to New Hampshire in 1991, where he led safety operations on the Big Dig and other major tunnel projects in the Boston area—though he was always more interested in the people than the blueprints.

A lover of Oldies music, dancing, and a good backgammon match, Patrick had a natural wit, gift for conversation and storytelling (accurate or not). He greeted friends and strangers alike with his signature, “Top o’ the morning to you,” always pausing to make sure they replied correctly: “And the rest of the day to you.” He adored spending time with his children’s friends, sharing tales and laughter; many of them lovingly referred to him as “Mr. J.” And although he spent nearly half his life in New England, he never wavered for his devotion for Chicago sports teams and Notre Dame football.

More than the game itself, Patrick loved the tradition of gathering people together for the annual Thanksgiving morning football game—known as The Toilet Bowl. What began in the 1960s as a backyard scrimmage among siblings and neighbors in Illinois became a cherished ritual. When Patrick later moved to New Hampshire, he brought the tradition with him, turning it into a beloved community event. To this day, the tradition continues in the town of Hudson—a lasting legacy of Patrick’s love for family, friendship, and a little friendly competition.

His go-to toast, inherited from his father, was as irreverent as it was classic: “To hell with poverty!”

Pat shared 50 years of marriage with the love of his life, Colette (Zeier) Jamieson. Their relationship was marked by devotion, laughter, and a steady, unmistakable bond that only deepened with time. After Pat suffered a stroke in June 2016, Colette cared for him at home with unwavering compassion and grace—a true testament to the life they built together.

Patrick is survived by Colette; his children, Colleen, Sean, and Claire Jamieson; his son-in law Justin Baron, his daughter-in-law Brittany Jamieson, his grandchildren; Liam Jamieson-Rana, Patrick Rana, and Brayden Jamieson; his siblings, Robert, John, Michael, William, Thomas, Anne and Katherine Jamieson, and Mary Katerinis; along with many beloved brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends.

He now joins his parents, Patricia (Keane) and Robert Jamieson, and his brother David. He is no doubt organizing a family football game now.

To those who knew him, Patrick was a storyteller, a toastmaster, a history enthusiast (especially of his own family), and above all, someone who made life a little lighter and funnier just by being in the room.

Harry E. Russell

RUSSELL, HARRY E Front-Photo

Harry Edward Russell, Sr, of Goffstown NH passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 at the age of 87, after a brief illness.  He was born in Woburn, MA on June 5, 1937 to Samson and Bessie (McKenzie) Russell.  After high school, Harry’s love for the military led him to the Air Force at the age of 17 where he received his GED and stations in both Madrid and the Azores.

While on leave from the Air Force, Harry met his first wife Edith (Guest) Russell. They were later married and had five children, Janet (Francisco) Ginja, Deborah Morrisette, Sandra (Daniel) Riedy, Harry Russell Jr, and John (Nicole) Russell.

After Harry’s tour in the Air Force, he was hired to work alongside his father Samson in Boston at a local fish market.  Harry was later hired at Anheuser-Busch in 1972 where he worked as a maintenance supervisor for over 20 years.  Harry’s dedication to Anheuser-Busch was clear to anyone who knew him, and his decades of hard work was rewarded with an early retirement from Anheuser-Busch in 1992.

It was during his 20-year career at Anheuser-Busch that Harry met Bonnie (Sico) Russell.  They were married on November 1, 1980, and spent the next 44 years together until Bonnie passed away on March 9, 2025.

In 1983, Harry received his pilot’s license and took great pride in being able to yell “Clear Prop”, turn the key, and zoom off into the sky with family and friends.  Hardly a week went by without Harry visiting Nashua’s Boire Field and taking a Cessna out for a spin.  A flight with Harry was often met with breakfast at a local airfield or maybe even a flight to Martha’s Vinyard if time permitted.  A return to his favorite chair back at home was met with an ice-cold Budweiser and a well-earned nap.

Harry and Bonnie lived together in Nashua, NH until 1994 when they traded the cold New England winters for the warmth of Las Cruces, New Mexico.  It was in New Mexico that Harry and Bonnie enjoyed the warm weather, explored the beauty of New Mexico by car and motorcycle, and traveled to far reaching destinations like Italy and Hawaii.

Harry was an avid walker and spent virtually every morning in Las Cruces under the shadow of the Organ Mountains enjoying the roadrunners and jackrabbits that scampered about.  Harry and Bonnie’s love for animals led to the adoption of dogs Charlie and Sammi and cats Oscar, Felix and Lotti.  Harry also made sure the neighborhood birds were well fed.

In 2022, Harry and Bonnie moved back to New Hampshire settling in Goffstown to be closer to family and friends.  A visit to Goffstown often included a game of checkers and watching military history shows.

Harry was predeceased by his brothers Harold (Margaret) Russell, Samuel (Barbara) Russell, Roderick (Mary) Russell, Everett (Kate) Russell, Herbert (Mary Madonna) Russell, and sister Anne (Don) Paron.  Harry was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren Ryan, Jordan (late), Evan, Jacquie, Nicholas and Macie and a great grandfather to Luisa.

Stephen A. “Steve” Kozsan

KOZSAN, STEPHEN obit

Stephen (Steve) Alexander Kozsan of Hollis, NH died peacefully on April 29, 2025, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH; two days shy of his 63′ birthday. His wife, Regina, was by his side. Rich in life and love, Steve lived out his mantra of “family, faith, friends” daily.

Steve was born in Massena, NY on May 1, 1962 to Alexander Kozsan and Claire (Lantry) Kozsan. He attended Sacred Heart School and the Massena School System. He graduated from Massena High School in 1980 in the top of his class. He was a member of the National Honor Society and class Vice President. He played soccer and hockey.

In 1984, Steve graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse where he met his wife Regina and made many lifelong friends. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a member of the Hockey Club and the Jesuit Honor Society Alpha Sigma Nu. Upon graduation, Steve was recruited by Price Waterhouse to work in their Syracuse, NY office; eventually relocating to the NYC/NJ office to be closer to Regina.

Steve adored his family. Regina and Steve were a great team, together for more than 40 years and married 36 years this August. They loved each other deeply and were the best of friends. Together they built a beautiful family with three children: Sarah (Kozsan) Fazio (husband Paul Fazio), Matthew Kozsan and Kaitlyn Kozsan. Steve loved being a father and was incredibly proud of his children. He was thrilled when he became “Papa” to his granddaughters Isabelle and Adeline.

Family time was always Steve’s priority; he particularly enjoyed spending time together on Lake Winnipesaukee and traveling. Steve also cherished his close relationship with siblings Cynthia (Kozsan) Ott (husband James Ott), Mark Kozsan and James Kozsan (wife Brenda).

Friendships held significant meaning for Steve as he maintained many long-term relationships from all aspects of his life: Massena, Le Moyne, Hollis, Lake Winnipesaukee, church and work. Everyone loved his fun spirit, smile, positive energy and spirituality.

Steve had an illustrious career in finance and was a Certified Public Accountant. His most recent role was Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Shrink Packaging Systems in Nashua, NH. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Dynex Technologies. A significant part of his career was at C.R. Bard. Through acquisitions he moved to Boston Scientific and Becton Dickenson (BD). Prior to retiring from Becton Dickinson, he was Vice President of Finance and Controller of Global Manufacturing Operations. Many of his former colleagues have remarked on what a wonderful, kind person Steve was, mentoring countless people over the years. He remained close with many of his colleagues.

In September 2022, Steve was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and fatal brain cancer. He was determined to beat the odds, which average less than 14 months. Always an overachiever, he lived more than two and a half years from diagnosis with great quality of life. Steve raised awareness for glioblastoma research over the past two years by participating in the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund Walk on “Team Steve: Survive and Thrive.”

Steve never let the tumor deter him from the activities he loved. He would often be seen paddleboarding on Lake Winnipesaukee, coffee mug in hand and the family dog Riley along for the ride (sometimes Tucker too). He also loved to be outdoors; boating, walking, gardening and working out whenever possible. A talented water skier, Steve was up on one ski first try as recently as last summer. With a seemingly endless supply of energy, friends and family joked that he logged more steps in an average morning than most people do in days. He also never missed an opportunity to break out ‘the twist’ on the dance floor at weddings.

When many people face hardship, they turn away from their faith. Instead, Steve leaned into it and found great strength. He was an active member of Parish of The Resurrection, where he attended daily mass and rosary, and developed wonderful friendships through the men’s group.

Steve was the type of man who thanked his wife for dinner, held doors for her, and brought her flowers from his beautiful gardens. He could be silly and always had a smile. He was extremely intelligent and kind. He will be missed beyond words.

Steve is survived by his wife Regina (Moynihan) Kozsan; his children Sarah (Kozsan) Fazio and her husband Paul Fazio, Matthew Kozsan and Kaitlyn Kozsan; his granddaughters Isabelle and Adeline Fazio; his siblings Cynthia (Kozsan) Ott (husband, James Ott), Mark Kozsan and James Kozsan (wife, Brenda Kozsan), and countless other loved ones.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday, May 8th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Friday, May 9th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
