   Beryl M. Taylor, 87, of Nashua, widow of John M. Taylor, passed away peacefully at her home, early Saturday morning, September 9, 2023.         

   Mrs. Taylor was born in Island Falls, Maine on June 27, 1936, daughter of the late W. Jewell and Helen (Cottle) Robinson. Beryl grew up in Sherman Station, Maine and was a graduate of Sherman Station High School. She furthered her education at Boston University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree.

    A resident of Nashua since the mid 1960s, Beryl had been employed as a sales clerk for 33 years at J.C. Penny’s department store at the Pheasant Lane Mall and later the J.C. Penny Home Store until she retired.
Beryl enjoyed dancing, knitting and tatting in her leisure time.

    She is survived by her son, John M. Taylor Jr. of Nashua. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John, who passed away March 9, 1977; her son, Scott Alan Taylor on May 11, 2007; and her brother, Douglas Robinson in 2008.

...was thinking of your Mom tonight and somehow I knew something was up, as I had not heard from her...your Mom was a special soul, I thought the world of her, working with her for nearly 20 years at JCP. My sincere condolences, I will remember her with great fondness and a smile.
