So sad to come across this trying to locate Brian after way too many years. We worked together in 1975-76 prior to our careers at DEC. He and Gloria had a walk up apartment in New Bedford, and I fondly remember annual Halloween parties when they got their first house and we both worked at DEC. A smart and most generous person.

Not mentioned in his obituary is that Brian had been active with model rockets. I remember meeting Brian at his talk on high power rocketry at a NEMROC convention in Northboro, Massachusetts in the mid- to late-1980s. A great guy and very well informed. May you always have clear skies, Brian.

Brian was a staunch supporter of the mission of Nashua Fire Rescue, always working to ensure that public safety was adequately funded. I will personally miss Brian and his special sense of humor. I know the city will miss his non-partisan approach to governance and his drive to make Nashua a great place to call home. On behalf of the Board of Fire Commissioners I offer our deepest condolences to Gloria, John and Kim.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Brian, you knocked on my door nearly 40 years ago, you said "WELCOME TO OUR CITY HARVEY, HOPE YOU STAY ALONG TIME!" No one knows what that meant to me! Thank you so much Brian, I've tried to love Nashua as you have showed us how to love a most beautiful city filled with beautiful people! Harvey Keye

Brian, such an honor to have served under you. I have been so impressed by your candor, compassionate, kindness, knowledge and so many other attributes. I was amazed as a newbie when I ask a question, how quickly you responded and the dates and history behind your response. For that thank you, (smile)! I will miss your presence, wow such a gentleman. Condolences to Gloria, the children and family, friends and colleagues. RIP Brian!

When someone passes, we often say that he or she will be missed. In Brian's case, that would be a woefully meager understatement. He was Nashua's most underappreciated resource. And a fine guy. My sincere condolences to Gloria, Kim and John as well as to his extended family and many close friends.
