Bryan J. Townsend, 67, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 12, 1953, in Boston, MA, to Robert J. Townsend, and Doris A. (Miller) Townsend.
Bryan served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1971-1974. He worked as a Local 7, Union Ironworker in Boston for 35 years. Over the years, Bryan enjoyed camping; fishing; playing and coaching baseball; skiing; and golfing. Above all, Bryan loved spending time with his family.
Bryan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Anna M. Townsend, whom he cherished and adored; four children, Sharron Conneely, of Nashua, Bryan Townsend, II, of Merrimack, Lisa Townsend, of Inverness, FL, and Michelle Mersereau, of Calais, ME; and ten grandchildren, Fallon, Adelyn, Bryan (III), Alex, Wyatt, Quinn, Levi, Alexandra, MacKenzie, and Zachary. He is also survived by his caring siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. He was recently predeceased by a brother, Elvin Richard Arnold.
Bryan, a funny, charming, and generous man, will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on SATURDAY, AUGUST 28th at 10 a.m. in ST. LOUIS DE GONZAGUE CHURCH, 50 West Hollis Street, Nashua. Friends are invited to attend.
