So sorry to hear about your mothers passing. I really enjoyed Penny and Bruces company on my annual trips to Marlow to visit. I worked with Bruce for years at Benchmark. I used to bring Steven D to see your Mom and Bruce. Your mom always made a great dinner for us. I would like to keep in touch with Bruce if possible. I really miss him and hope he is doing well. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this sad time. Please give Bruce a big hug for me. God bless.

Ray and Penny and the family were very active at Infant Jesus parish, where I got to know them during my years there, 1981 to 1988. I had the chance to visit with her and Bruce a couple of times in Marlowe. May the Lord let His face shine upon her and draw her forever into his peace. Fr. Marcel Martel

Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. Doris (Gagnon) Pierson. Yvette Despres was my mother’s (Bea Gagnon) sister. Your mom and dad’s wedding was the first wedding I remember going to! I was 10 years old and still can picture them cutting the wedding cake! Time goes by way too fast.

I have such fond memories of Penny. She was always very kind and loving. I still have the wedding gift she made us 37 years ago. It is a tole painting of a Main Street with a school, computer store, and Gual General Store. The last time she visited, I showed her where it is placed and told her how I have treasured it. She was delighted! I am thinking of all her children and sending them love as they navigate this challenging time.

I knew Penny when I lived on Newberry Street...she lived around the corner. We hooked up many years later at Mt.St.Mary Seminary and spent 4 years of high school together. She was known for her Pork Pies and her Gorton...I was never able to recreate either even though I followed her recipes. Her Dad was the MSMS photographer. My heart goes out to the family and to the world for the loss of a wonderful person.

Penny was a very special person and long time friend. Her family was so important, Shane and Nita you both took such good care of mom and she did have a tough road for a few years, and she never complained. I have wonderful memories of many great times from childhood, raising our children and many happy times with our mutual friends. Penny was a wonderful person who had a heart of gold, I know she will be missed, sending love to her children and spouses.
