   Carol M. Troxell, 87, formerly of Nashua and Hudson, widow of Dale E. Troxell, passed away Saturday evening, July 18, 2020 after a period of declining health.   

   Mrs. Troxell was born in Peterborough, NH on February 8, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter D. and Catherine (Hunt) Doyle. During her early years, Carol resided in Fitchburg, MA before moving to Nashua in the mid 1940s. A graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1952, she worked for the former New England Telephone Company as an operator prior to marrying Dale on April 4, 1959.

    After raising her four children, Carol worked for Susse Chalet in reservations and later worked for Sears Roebuck & Company in the catalog department at both the downtown Nashua store and later at the Pheasant Lane Mall.

    Carol was a very caring and loving person and devout Catholic. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Parish in Nashua for many years, where she was an active volunteer, sang in the choir and served as a Eucharistic Minister. After moving to Hudson in 1998, Carol was a communicant of St. John The Evangelist Church and was a volunteer of the mercy meals. In the 1970s, she was a former Girl Scout leader.

     In her leisure time, Carol loved dancing, music and attending band concerts at Greeley Park in Nashua and the Lowell Jazz Festival. She was also active at the Nashua Senior Center’s Exercise and Swimming programs.

    Carol was predeceased by her husband Dale, who passed away October 15, 2011; and three siblings, S. Peter Doyle, Mary T. Couture and Kathleen Hebert.

     Members of her family include her children, Elaine Milonas and her husband Chris, Paul Troxell, Laura Tebo, and Marie Carter and her husband Charles; six grandchildren, Chelsea Tebo and her companion Donovan Shea,  Ali Tebo and her companion Dante Palumbo, Charissa Ortega and her husband Jose, and Chantel French and her husband Dennis. Sarah and Steven Milonas; three great-grandchildren, Jakob, Camila, and Jordan Ortega; a sister, Paula Furnee; and many nieces and nephews.

     There are no calling hours. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII Parish in Hudson. Encryptment will take place in the Mausoleum of Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, suggested donations are Home Health & Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 166 South River Road, #210, Bedford, NH 03110.

I know it's a hard thing to lose your mother. Please k now that Frank and I are very sorry for your lose. Your mom and dad were good neighbors and friends. A hug from us to all of you.

My Condolences to the whole family. I loved both your mom and dad they were so nice to us when we were kids, They treated everyone with love and respect, now they are resting in piece together. It is all there loved ones that are suffering now. I am so sorry we cant be there to give you all a hug.

My Sincerest Condolences to Carol's Family. May your Memories keep her spirit alive and bring Comfort in the days to follow. She lived a wonderful and full life. I wish I had known her before the Alzheimers took over.
