Carolyn B. Pierpont, 82, of Nashua, widow of Donald K. Pierpont, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Monday, March 21, 2022.
Mrs. Pierpont was born in Everett, Massachusetts on May 14, 1939, a daughter of the late Michael and Veronica (Orlowski) Miller. She was educated in Everett schools and was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1957.
A resident of Nashua since 1971, Carol had been employed by the City of Nashua, in the early 1980s. She also worked at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Carol enjoyed ceramics and owned and operated Carol’s Ceramics at her home. In her leisure time, she also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and all of their dogs.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband Donald, who passed away July 9, 1993. They were married on October 21, 1962 and shared over 30 years together. She was also predeceased by her son, Scott D. Pierpont.
Members of her family include two sons, Steven M. Pierpont and David W. Pierpont; a daughter, Dawn M. Reed and her husband Donald; daughters-in-law, Barbara Ann Pierpont of Holt, MI and Sonia Pierpont of Hudson, NH; seven grandchildren, Amanda Pierpont, Corey Pierpont and his fiancée Amanda Scott all of Hudson, Holly Reed, Hailey Reed and her fiancé Christian Murray all of Nashua, Mitchell Pierpont, Katie Pierpont and Michael Pierpont all of Holt, MI; a brother, Robert Miller and his wife Mary; a sister, Judy Walsh and her husband James; sister-in-law, Shirley Senecal and her husband Gerry; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also had a special, lifelong friend, “second daughter” Kim LaFrance.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Monday, March 28th from 4 to 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock followed by interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
