Claire (Gagne) Ricard, 91, of Nashua, widow of Paul E. Ricard, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2019 after a brief illness.

A lifelong resident of Nashua, Claire was born on August 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Marie Anne (Briand) Ricard. Mrs. Ricard worked at J.F. McElwain in the coupon and payroll departments, she also maintained the books for the family business, P.E. Ricard & Sons. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and attended St. Louis High School.

Members of her family include her sons, Paul Michael of DelRay Beach, Florida, Ronald Raymond and his wife Linda of Nashua. A daughter, Suzanne Paula Gano and her husband Edward of Peachland, NC. Seven Grandchildren; Ron Ricard and his wife Kelley, Paul Ricard, Tanya Burris and her husband James, Paula Marie Moien and her husband Jeffrey, Shawn Sullivan, Jack Sullivan and Abigail Gano; five Great Granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, siblings and husband, Claire was predeceased by two daughters, Marie Anne Schofield and Doreen Page; a son, Daniel; two grandchildren, Corianne and Joshua Schofield.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Wednesday, May 29th from 4 to 7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church.
