Claude Russell “Russ” Baldwin, 68, of Nashua, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a period of declining health.
Russ was the oldest of four children of the late Harold L. and Shirley (Bourdon) Baldwin; he was born in Nashua on February 12, 1956.
Russ and his family resided in Nebraska for over seven years, where he attended junior high and high school. After moving back to Nashua, Russ attended his senior year at Nashua High School.
A finished carpenter, Russ and his brother owned and operated Baldwin Builders for many years. In his leisure time, Russ enjoyed woodworking and woodcarving and was very artistic. Russ was a sweet, kind and loving person.
Members of his family and loved ones include, his life-long partner, Cathy West, his sons, Lonnie Baldwin, Jason Baldwin, Russell Baldwin and daughter, Britni Baldwin; his sister, Cindy Lee Loranger; his brothers, Daniel L. Baldwin, and the late Michael C. Baldwin; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no formal services at this time and a celebration of his life will be planned by family at a future time. Russ will be laid to rest in Edgewood Cemetery.
