Corwin W. “Cory” Barka

Corwin William “Cory” Barka , 49, passed away peacefully at his home in Meredith, NH on Sunday morning, August 25th surrounded by family and friends after battling a lengthy illness.

Cory was born in Nashua on April 26, 1970, son of Diane (Levesque) Barka Bibeau and the late Robert Alan Barka. He was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1989 and worked for many years in construction, managing cottage rentals, and most recently as a water filtration engineer.

A longtime resident of Nashua, Cory moved to Meredith in 2010. He enjoyed camping in the White Mountains, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching football, working on his house, and spending time with his dog, Mookie.

Cory is survived by his children, Amelia and Kyle Barka;  his mother, Diane Bibeau; step-father, Rick Bibeau; his sister, Stacey Morrow; his live-in girlfriend, Kimberly Sterndale; and his nieces and nephew, Sarah, Avery, Lauren and Tucker Morrow.

As requested by Cory, no funeral services will be held. I didn't know he passed away. He stopped by my house all the time with mookie and some candy for my girls. I'm in shock. I didn't hear about the News until today when I bumped into Kim at the grocery store. R.I.P my friend. Until we meet again. Your friend, Michael Porter.
