I knew Dan as the best player in our pool league at Boston Billiards for 10 years. He always wore that role really, really well. Competitive, but always with respect, a smile, and an honest handshake at the end, win or lose. As someone else said, a great ambassador for the game. He was well liked and he will be missed.

For several years, I had the pleasure of playing pool with Dan. Aside from being a great pool player, he was a class act! Always a gentleman and a kind and gentle spirit. I'm sad to see he passed away. He will be missed by even those of us who didn't even get a chance to know him much better. Rest in Peace Dan!

Dear Leon from Sue Nordemo :GOD LOOKED -" God looked around His gardenAnd found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth. And saw your tired face . He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough. And the hills were hard to climb,So He closed your weary eyelids,And whispered"Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. " My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. PEACE Sue

Danny and I go back almost sixty years. I've known him from 3rd grade right through high school. I've also had the privilege of playing league pool with him for the last twenty or so years. Danny was like a brother to me and it is that type of grief that I am feeling for him and his family. The world is a lesser place with him gone. Rest in peace my friend!

We are saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. My siblings and I grew up around the corner from the family home on Lake St. Many early years spent together at both homes playing cards and sharing meals together as well as time at the camp. Dan had a wonderful warm smile and it a was always special to see the Simoneau’s during my east coast visits. To all, we will keep you in our thoughts during this difficult time.

When we heard about Dan's passing we were both so very saddened. Dan was one of the nicest guys in the pool league with a kind nature. I will miss seeing and no longer being able to play with him. His name will be missed not being on rosters or in tournaments. He will not be forgotten by many any time soon. We have truly lost an exceptional person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
