Deborah E. (Winslow) Fortier, 63, of Nashua, wife of Stanley J. Fortier, passed away Sunday evening, November 6, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of this city, Debbie was born on May 17, 1953, daughter of the late Donald R. and Joyce Ann (Rowe) Winslow. She attended the former Sacred Heart School of St. Patrick Church and Nashua public schools. Debbie was a homemaker and had also worked for a time at the former Doehla Greeting Card Company.
She loved her family, was a devoted wife and mother and will be remembered for her “Big and Caring Heart”.
Members of her family include her husband Stan, with whom she shared the past 36 years; her children, Angela J. Dunne and her husband Timothy A. Dunne of Nashua and Justin T. Fortier and his wife Somer Ann Fortier of Merrimack; two grandchildren, Nathan Fortier and Sierra Dunne; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Dunne; four brothers, Donald R. Winslow Jr., Ethan A. Winslow and his wife Patricia, George S. Winslow and his wife Susan, and David P. Winslow; her sister, Diane M. Boyd and her husband Douglas; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by a brother, Mark J. Winslow.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday, November 10th from 5 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, November 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lafayette Club, 34 High Street, Nashua.
