Deborah Marie “Debbie” (Frorillo) Dango, 68, longtime resident of Wilmington MA, passed away with family by her side on October 3rd, 2021 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington MA.  She was born on October 23rd, 1952 to her late parents, Michael F “Mickey” and Doris (Pease) Frorillo of Somerville MA.  Debbie cherished her parents and siblings. She attended Cambridge Ringe and Latin High School.  Following High School, she met and married the love of her life, Frank. They were married on June 9th, 1972.

Debbie soon followed Frank overseas to Naples Italy, living there while he was in the Navy.  Upon her husband’s discharge, they returned to the states, settling in Medford MA.  There they started their family having two boys, Frankie and Jason, and later moved to Wilmington, MA.  Debbie raised her boys with absolute and unconditional love.  She worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Woburn Nursing Center.  Debbie loved caring for her elderly patients, which she did with unwavering devotion.  She also loved working alongside her amazing co-workers.

As the beloved matriarch of her family, Debbie gave unconditional love and support throughout her entire life.  Although she loved every moment of being a wife and mother, nothing brought her more joy than becoming a Grandmother.  She loved attending all of her grandkids sporting and school events. It was her grandkids that gave her the most joy in life.  Debbie loved her older sister Carole.  She was always so grateful for their lifelong friendship and all their time together. They had a special bond and talked about their lives on a daily basis.  Debbie also cherished spending time with her best friends Marie and Charlie, going out to breakfast, shopping and especially the occasional trip to the casinos.

Debbie was a selfless person who would help any of her friends without hesitation.  Best stated by her loving husband, she had a smile that would light up a room and had an amazing sense of humor.  Everyone that knew her would completely agree.  She was truly a beautiful person inside and out and will be forever loved, cherished, and missed by all.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband Francis “Frank” J. Dango and her two dear sons; Francis J. “Frankie” Dango III and his wife Lisa of Waltham, and Jason J. Dango and his wife Jennie-Ann of Dracut.  She was the cherished Nana to her six grandchildren: Alexis, Mikayla, Gessica, Michael, Jason Jr. and Samantha and the loving sister of Carole Frorillo of Watertown.  Debbie is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and her cat Lucky.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Frorillo Jr and her cat Blackie.

Visitation for Debbie will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4 – 8 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington, MA.  Friends and family are cordially invited to attend.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 11 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington.  To honor the wishes of the Dango family, please meet directly at the cemetery prior to the start of the graveside service.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Debbie’s memory to either the Nevins MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen. MA 01844 or to the Wilmington Food Pantry, 142 Chestnut St, Wilmington, MA 01887.  Arrangements under the direction of the FARWELL Funeral Service.

My sincere condolences to Frank, the family and my family associated so lovingly to Debbie. I couldn't believe you passed Debbie! When we met during my visits back in 2018 It felt like we had know one another and you felt like family. Had such a ball of fun at Cindys that past Sunday during that visit. Then I would be fortunate to have you on Faeeboo as one of my cherished friends who as always adoring me! And Marie would joke back "He's Mine!" And you would snap back funnily " Step aside Marie Paul likes me better!" I used to love this these little but treasured Facebook moments. And only wished I came back to visit sooner. Debbie, may you rest in Gods everlasting peace and may you be able to walk those heavenly streets with My awesome Auntie Eleanor. Being the funny duo you both were and making all our angels smile more. God bless you Debbie and I have one favor. Can you get me to the front of the line at the red carpet when I arrive at the gates of Heaven someday in the future? Guest list ? Anyhjng? Thanks so much ha ha anyways Love you Kid and fly high!! Paulie

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Over the years when my kids were young and going to your family parties, she was always so kind to us and saw the love she had for her family. That was a very nice write up❤️

My deepest condolences to the Dango family. I am truly saddened by the loss of Debbie. It really was such a pleasure to have known her I really consider myself to be honored to have a bite to eat with her or just sit at the table and laugh endlessly all day. She surely will be missed and I will pray for strength for all that hold love in their hearts for Debbie during this difficult time.

This is a beautifully written tribute. I had only met her twice, but she was warm and kind. She was full of life. My heart goes out to all of our family. Jason, Jenny and kids - you filled her life with joy. My heart and prayers are with you all as you remember this remarkable mother and grandmother.
