I just called for an appointment and got the terrible news. I too like many was a 50 year client of Denny’s school of how things should be! Besides getting a great and consistent haircut, you could always count on getting the latest news and some great jokes. He will be missed tremendously, my condolences to the entire family.

Denny has been my barber since we moved to Nashua in 1973-----so for all those years until he retired I was with him monthly, talking about family, sports, where to get the best buy on an item, world events, health, his camping place in North HN, his love for his family and grandkids. He was like a member of the family and he came to our house a few times to cut my hair, after I had had surgery. I too am a vet and he spoke of wanting to be buried in Boscowen----it is an honor for him to be there. I just found out through the Telegraph that he had passed away. I would have loved to have said a proper "Good-bye" at the funeral home. I pray that he didn't suffer. I missed him when he retired and I'll miss him even more now that he's not with us. Our love and prayers to family.

Bonnie & Jenn but each time I'd go to the salon I'd hear your names from Denny. He made each visit special with his stories, humor and knowledge of the city of Nashua. He had the ability to create a happy and warm atmosphere for all who crossed his path. We'd sit and chat for hours as he recount so many things and crack a joke with all who entered the salon. My husband knows you from many years ago and sends his deepest sympathies. We did not read the news until this morning but be assured Paul and I storm the heavens for comfort for all of you. I can picture the angels gathered around him and laughing gleefully with this funny and wonderful human being. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you continue on the journey of live. Sincerely Paul and Lorraine Plourde

I knew Denny for over 45 years. He cut my hair and beard from various locations in Nashua and Hudson. Even though he was an excellent barber, it was our conversations between two friends that I enjoyed the most. We talked about our families, current events and anything else that made the time pass as he cut my hair. COVID changed our monthly meetings to infrequent encounters when he cut my hair in my carport. I will truly miss him as will my wife and children who knew him. Our prayers and thoughts are with Bonnie and his daughter and other family members in this time of loss and grieving.

Deepest sympathy to Denny's wife and family. Denny cut my hair for nearly 50 years and my son's for more than 40 years, including his first haircut. He was also a friend I enjoyed talking with every time I went to see him. He will be missed.

I will miss you Denny that smile and laughter the funny jokes we shared the campfires and coffee in the morning, It's hard to believe that you and I starting with my hair cut and that would develop into a long life friendship for over 40 years !! You also met my kids and in fact you were the first to cut my son's hair now age 39. Farewell my friend and I'll see you on the other side soon enough for another good laugh !! Eddie
