My deepest sympathy extended to the whole family! His legacy lives on in each one of you, his charm, his intelligence, his witty humor, his never ending desire for learning, his love for his family! I will always remember those amazing family gatherings whether at Christmas, Thanksgiving, summer outings, or at Dottie’s cottage in Maine, with all the siblings eating lobster and playing games late into the evening. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all, but I am assured that he is rejoicing with all those who have gone on before him, freed from suffering, trials and pain. May he rest in peace and the fondest memories sustain and comfort the family during this time! Much love to all!

Our condolences to the whole Sutherland family. Dave and I worked with Don for years and he was best man at our wedding. We loved his sense of humor and caring nature. So sorry we had fallen out of touch, even though we thought of him often. He will be missed!

My greatest gift from Don is the privilege of motherhood. Jaime and Shaun are the lights of my life. I will always love you forever for that. I was so happy to spend time with you at Shaun and Mandy’s wedding just over a month ago. May you rest in peace, sweet man. ❤️‍🩹
