Donald P. Michaud, 90, of Hudson and formerly of Nashua, passed away Sunday morning, November 28, 2021 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a period of declining health.
Born in Nashua on July 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Roland and Sadie (Fournier) Michaud. Educated in local schools, Don was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1950. A Navy veteran, Mr. Michaud served during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. Following his honorable discharge, Don furthered his education at the former Nashua Business College, where he earned an Associate’s degree.
Don began his career in the electronics industry with Raytheon and continued with Sanders Associates and BAE Systems as a purchaser for many years.
Members of his family include his wife, Jane D. (Skorb) Michaud; a daughter, Donna Morton and her husband Chip; a son, Scott Michaud and his wife Brenda; five grandchildren, Adam, Derek, Nathan, Benjamin and Sarah; three great-grandchildren, Joseph, Abigail and Logan; also nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Don was also predeceased by his sister, Beatrice Pelletier.
There are no calling hours and a private graveside service will be held.
