Doris Ann (Roberts) St. Laurent Lustenberger, 87, of Nashua, passed away Monday morning, February 3, 2020 at Lawrence General Hospital after a brief illness. Doris is widow of Robert G. St. Laurent and Joseph Lustenberger.
Mrs. Lustenberger was born in Manchester on the 4th of July in 1932, a daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche (St. Jean) Roberts. During her early years, she resided on Pleasant Street in Nashua and has made her home here for many years. Educated in local schools, Doris was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1950.
Doris was employed with Sprague Electric Company for many years and later worked in the cafeteria at Sanders Associates and their successors until she retired.
A communicant of St. Joseph The Worker Parish, Doris was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital for twenty years and was active at the Nashua Senior Center organizing the Bridge Club.
Her many hobbies and interests include sewing, love of the outdoors, swimming, walking, hosting her 4th of July barbeques, playing cards and spending time at the lake. Doris will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husbands and parents, Doris was also predeceased by her son, Mark E. St. Laurent; granddaughter, Nicole St. Laurent; and her brother, Roger Roberts.
Members of her family include her children, Debra St. Laurent of Litchfield, Karen Taylor and her husband Mark of Merrimack, and Robert W. St. Laurent and his wife Monica of Nashua; daughter-in-law, Lynne A. St. Laurent of Nashua; eight grandchildren, Bruce Picard and his wife Krista of Hollis, Douglas Picard and his wife Tara of Candia, James St. Laurent and his wife Kelly of Nashua, Shawn St. Laurent of Hollis, Melina Taylor of Merrimack, Lindsey Taylor of Hudson, Robert G. St. Laurent of Nashua and Katie St. Laurent of New Jersey; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Friday, February 7th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph The Worker Church, 777 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church.
