Duen-Ping Tsay

TSAY, DUEN PING

Duen-Ping Tsay of Nashua passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the age of 71. He died peacefully at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester with his family by his side.

Duen-Ping was born in Taipei, Taiwan on September 3, 1949 to Jeh-Sheng and Shu-Ming Tsay. He proudly served as an officer in the Taiwanese Armed Forces from 1971 to 1973. For his formal education, he pursued his interest in electrical engineering through a B.S. at National Taiwan University and M.S. at Northwestern University before completing his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Ohio State University. After graduation, Duen-Ping moved to Nashua and joined Wang Laboratories for 11 years before starting his own companies, Imagine LAN Inc. and Sampan Security Inc.

Duen-Ping is survived by his wife Kung-Tai Tsay; his children, Ming-Jen Tsay Horvath and her husband, Dr. Jon Edward Horvath, and Irwin Tsay and his wife, Christine Chow; his granddaughter Charlize Suzi Horvath; and his sisters, San San Liu and Sue Fan and her husband, Steve Fan. Throughout his life, Duen-Ping displayed tireless love and devotion to his family. In addition to his strong dedication to family, Duen-Ping was an avid photographer. His favorite subject being his wife.

Duen-Ping was certainly a responsible, accountable, family-loving gentleman. We enjoyed his company at many occasions. He will be remembered forever!! Our deepest condolences to his family!
