Elsie H. (Murphy) Harney, 84, of Nashua died on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Aynsley Place of natural causes.
Elsie was born on May 25, 1934, in Peabody, MA, the youngest child of the late Elsie (McCarthy) and Omer Murphy, Sr. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Harney, her brother, Omer Murphy, Jr., her brother-in-law, Robert Farina, Sr. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Elsie, who preferred to be called “Auntie,” is survived by her sister, Mary (Murphy) Farina of Nashua; her sister-in-law Janis (Bower) Murphy of Pittsfield, MA; her cousin and best friend Kathleen (Cook) and Henry Richards of Merrimack; her nieces and nephews: Jacqueline (Murphy) and Kenneth Haughey of Belchertown, MA; Mari-Jane Farina and Robert Skladany of Wellesley, MA; Robert and Rebecca (MacIntyre) Farina of Nashua; John Farina of Nashua; Susan Farina of Nashua; Denise (Murphy) and Mark Matthews of Alpharetta, GA; James and Fran (Yonkauski) Farina of Essex Junction, VT; and Laurie (Cook) and Will Wagner of Pacifica, CA; her great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews: Elizabeth, Andrew, Michael, Brian, Emily, Katie, Dave, Nicole, Miguel, Maggie, Chris, Anthony, Hannah, Emma, Kerry, Abigail, Emmaline, and Mikayla Keppler; and her grandson, Robert “Bobbie” Farina.
