Florence B. Hudon, 93, of Nashua, widow of Norbert H. Hudon, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018 at Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare.

A native and lifelong Nashua resident, Mrs. Hudon was born on August 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Emile and Alphonsine (Alaire) Cloutier. She was educated in local schools and had been employed at Jalb Mfg, AMF & Kerk Motion Products. Florence and her husband Norbert were married on Valentine’s Day in 1946. The couple made their home on Vine Street for many years and shared 62 years together until his passing on September 1, 2008.

Members of her family include five children and their spouses, Ronald and Estelle Hudon of Nashua, Daniel and Joan Hudon of Milford, Michael and Tammy Hudon of Brookline, Claire and Arthur “Sonny” Berube of Hollis and Theresa and Richard Blais of Milford; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; best friend and sister-in-law, Rita Cloutier of Nashua; also many nieces and nephews.

One of ten children, Florence was predeceased by seven brothers, Roland Cloutier, Maurice Cloutier, Paul Cloutier, Wilfred Cloutier, Fernand Cloutier, Roger Cloutier and Rene Cloutier; and two sisters, Mary Decoteau and Marie A. Hudon.

Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to nurses and staff of the Memory Care unit at Greenbriar Terrace for their care and kindness of Florence.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis Street, Nashua, Tuesday morning, October 30th at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Everyone is invited to attend and will gather at the church. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 166 South River Road, Bedford, NH 03110.

Ron, Estelle, Sandie, Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a loving and caring woman. I am glad that I was fortunate enough to meet her. I hope that all the great memories that you have with her will help you through this difficult time. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Such a beautiful picture of your mom. These times are hard but just imagine how happy she was to see her husband, friends, brothers and sisters greet at heaven's gate. Hugs to your entire family.
