     Francelina A. Bolieiro, 76, of Hudson, widow of Manuel M. Bolieiro, and formerly of Nashua and Allenstown, NH, passed away early Saturday morning, August 1, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

     Mrs. Bolieiro was born St. Miguel, Island of The Azores on November 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Jacinto and Angelina (Resendes) Serodio. She moved to Brazil in 1963 and immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s and made her home in Nashua for 40 years. In 2003 Francelina relocated to Allenstown until last year when she moved to Hudson to be near her family

     A homemaker, Mrs. Bolieiro also was employed as a production worker at the former Horton and Hubbard Luggage Company in Nashua for many years. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Francelina loved cooking, baking, hand sewing, handmade rugs and blankets, embroidery and gardening.

    Francelina was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Manuel M. Bolieiro who died March 26, 2014; and a brother, Jose of The Azores.

     Members of her family include four children, Jose Bolieiro and his wife Berenice of Georgia, Carolos Bolieiro of New Hampshire, Fatima Santana and her husband Santiago of Hudson and Lucia Bolieiro of Goffstown; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Manuel and Maria Vierira and Dinis and Inez Serodio all of Taunton, MA; two sisters, Maria Medeiros and Evelina Moniz and her husband Pedro all of Taunton, MA; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

       Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John XXIII Parish at Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds Street, Nashua, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.
