ST LAURENT, GEORGE A.

   George A. St. Laurent, 82, of Nashua, passed away very peacefully on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2022 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack with his loving family by his side.            

   A native and lifelong Nashua resident, George was born on February 22, 1940, the youngest of four sons of the late Charles and Juliette (LaCroix) St. Laurent. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1957.

   George was employed as produce manager of the former Grand Union Champagne’s supermarket for twenty-five years and continued at Market Basket in Nashua for several years until he retired.

    An active outdoorsman, George loved nature and walking the trails at Mines Falls Park in Nashua three times a week. He was also a sports fan of the New England Patriots.

    Members of his family include his wife, Jacqueline A. (Swift) St. Laurent, whom he married on September 7, 1959 and shared 62 years together; his daughters, Susan St. Laurent and Joan Carter; a grandson, Jeffrey Greenwood; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his brothers, Emile St. Laurent, Roland “Moe” St. Laurent and Maurice St. Laurent.

    The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at the Community Hospice House for their care, kindness and support.

    A Graveside Service will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley Street, Nashua, Saturday morning, June 4th at 10 o’clock. Family and friends are invited to attend.
