Gloria C. Bonenfant, 75, of Nashua, wife of Paul L. Bonenfant, passed away at her home, early Tuesday morning, November 22, 2016 after a seven months illness.
A lifelong resident of this city, Gloria was born in Nashua on January 16, 1941, a daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Cecile (Plourde) Letendre. Educated in local schools, Mrs. Bonenfant had worked as a para professional at Charlotte Avenue School for several years and previously worked in a real estate office and an insurance office. She was a communicant of St. John Neumann Parish.
Members of her family include her husband Paul, whom she married on November 19, 1960 at Infant Jesus Church and observed their 56th wedding anniversary on Saturday; her son and daughter-in-law, Carl J. and Barbara Bonenfant; her daughter, Catherine M. Fulkerson; seven grandchildren, Corey, Justin and Ben Bonenfant, Jaclyn and Connor Hodgkins, Kyle Fulkerson and Kristi Farr; a sister, Lillian Stimson of Nashua; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Paulette Letendre of Sun City, FL; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Gloria was also predeceased by a daughter, Charlene Y. Hodgkins and a sister, Lorette Letendre.
A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26th from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Route 101A, Merrimack, NH followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o’clock. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson. Friends are invited to attend. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
