Haruko I. Brown, 85, of Nashua, wife of Jeffrey Brown, passed away at her home, Tuesday evening, June 6, 2023, after a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Seirin and Yoshiko (Nakamatsu) Iju, she was born on April 2, 1938 in Okinawa, Japan where she was raised and educated.
Haruko began her career in Japan as a cash management specialist for government, banking and retail entities – namely Bank of America and Filene’s.
Members of her family include her beloved husband of 60 years, Jeffrey Brown; loving mother of four; Jeffrey Scott Brown of Watertown, MA, Nanci Kim Brown of Bedford, NH, Gary Curt Brown of South Plainfield, NJ and The Honorable Tracie Lynne Brown of San Francisco, CA; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Olivia, William, Matthew, Jayden, Tenley and Molly; a sister, Toshiko of Japan. She will be lovingly remembered by family members, friends and acquaintances here and abroad.
