Jaclyn Rae Spotts, 23, of Hollis, NH, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on Thanksgiving Day. It is ironic that, in the end, it was her heart that gave out. Could she have given so much of her own to others that there simply was not enough left for herself? Though her life was one fraught with illness, her care and compassion for others superseded all else.
Her extended family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care provided during her last weeks by the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
SERVICES: Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road in Merrimack, NH, Saturday, December 5th from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Her funeral service will be held at the church at 11 o’clock followed by a private family gathering at the graveside.
It was Jaclyn’s desire not to have flowers, but instead to make donations to Opportunity Networks; who provide life-enhancing skills for adults with developmental and acquired disabilities. It was her passion to help others there, and she wished for her work to carry on when she could not. To donate please go to Opportunity Networks website: www.opportunitynetworks.org and click on Donations.Bequests. Arrangements are in the care of the FARWELL FUNERAL SERVICE, 18 Lock Street, Nashua.
