Karen Ann Ashman, 59, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. As was true in life, she was surrounded by loved ones as she entered the gates of Heaven.
Karen lived as a no-nonsense person, whose upbeat personality was laced with a bit of sass and a whole lot of love and humor, encouraging and inspiring all those around her. While Karen refused to back down to life’s curve balls, she openly shared her struggles and successes, her faith in Christ and her hope with others. She was known for her love of family and friends and she treasured togetherness.
She openly explored her affinity for creativity by expressing herself as a painter and a loved karaoke singer in the Nashua area. Karen was also an actively involved member of Heritage Baptist Church in Nashua. She gained a great many friends in the sharing of her fun personality and talents who will sorely miss her.
Karen is survived by her loving children, Kevin Boyle and his fiancé Sandy Cavalieri of Nashua, CJ Fantozzi and his wife Melissa of Nashua, and Corey Fantozzi and his wife Heather of Kansas. She leaves behind a large, loving extended family including her siblings, Annemarie Jazembowski and her husband Stanley, Edward Ashman Jr. and his wife Andrea, Paul Ashman and his wife Patricia, Richard Ashman and his significant other Bonnie Fitzgibbon; her former husband Charles Fantozzi; eleven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and countless friends who adored her. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Anna Ashman and her half-sister, Elizabeth Kelly.
