KASPER, JOHN V

   John Vincent Kasper, 91, a native and longtime Nashua resident and more recently of Billerica, MA, passed away Thursday morning, January 2, 2025 at Billerica Crossings after a period of declining health.          

   Born in Nashua on Christmas, December 25, 1933, he was the son of the late John W. and Mary H. (Gumbus) Kasper. Educated in local schools, John was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1951. During the Korean War, Mr. Kasper served in the Air Force reserves.

   John began his career in the electronics industry at the former Sanders Associates in Nashua and continued as an Administrator with Raytheon for many years at several locations in Massachusetts.

    In his leisure time, John enjoyed working in his yard, swimming, fishing and was a New England Patriots fan.

    Members of his family include his wife of 61 years, Beverly A. (Grigas) Kasper, whom he married on June 1, 1963; his son and daughter-in-law, Lance M. and Marilyn Kasper; two granddaughters, Michelle A. Kasper and Kristen M. Vartabedian and her husband Tyler; also nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Alice C. Burke.

    In honoring John’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson.
