   Joyce S. (Russell) Seyer, 84, of Nashua, widow of Roland E. Seyer, passed away Friday morning, July 15, 2022 after a period of declining health.         

   Born in Goffstown, New Hampshire on April 3, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Dow) Russell. Joyce attended schools in Greenfield, NH and  made her home in the Nashua area most of  her life.

    Joyce had been employed as an assembler with Batesville Casket Company in Nashua for several years, before retiring. 

    Joyce enjoyed reading, embroidery and crocheting hats for the homeless. She also loved to travel, walking, and taking care of kindergarten children at the Adult Learning Center.

    Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Roland, who passed away September 24, 2008. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Fred Bohaker who passed away in 1985.

    Members of her family include a son, Tracy Bohaker of Vancouver, WA; two daughters, Sandra Allard of Milford and April Bohaker of Exeter; a step-daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” MacDonald and her husband Joseph of Nashua; her grandchildren, Kelly West and Josh of Leadville, CO, and Kimberly MacDonald of Nashua; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands and parents, Joyce was predeceased by four siblings.

     A celebration of her life will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Sunday, July 24th from 2 to 5 p.m.  A private Graveside service will take place Monday, July 25th. I always enjoyed our weekly sessions. Joyce was full of funny stories about her life. I will miss you, my friend.

april and sandy so sorry to hear the passing of your mother treasure of the things you did togther and the memories i will treasure the ones i have i rem all the good times with her when we lived next to each other not she can rest i know its hard love always rochelle
