Kathleen C. Kupchunas, 70, of Hudson, wife of Frank B. Kupchunas, passed away Saturday morning, February 2, 2019, after a period of declining health.
A resident of Hudson for many years, Kathleen was born in Nashua on November 3, 1948, a daughter of the late Agnes A. (Sinkervitch) and Joseph P. Andruskevich Jr. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1966 and furthered her education at Continental Academie of Hair Design in Hudson, graduating as a cosmetologist.
In addition to raising her daughters, Kathleen had worked as a sales representative of Ralph Lauren and Jones New York clothing at both Macy’s and Filene’s at the Pheasant Lane Mall for 15 years.
She had been an active volunteer in Hudson schools and served as President of the Parent Teachers Association. Kathleen was a member of the Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps where she was a flag holder and was a member of Graniteteers of Rochester, NH. Kathleen loved spending summers at the family camp at Center Harbor of Lake Winnipesaukee for 24 years; and enjoyed cooking, especially Lithuanian dishes for the holidays.
Kathleen was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Nashua and the former St. Casimir Church for many years.
Members of her family include her husband Frank, whom she married on July 8, 1977 and shared over 41 years together; her daughters and their husbands, Kara and Garrett Nadeau of Hudson and Kristen and Charles “Chip” Norris of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Ashley and Addison Nadeau, and Alanna and Carter Norris; two brothers and their wives, Gregory J. and Pamela Andruskevich of Nashua and Joseph F. “Jodie” and Linda Andruskevich of Merrimack; a sister, Christine M. Gauvin of Nashua; a sister-in-law and her husband, Mary and James Nute of Gilford; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Tuesday evening, February 5th from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson. Friends are invited to attend and will gather at the church. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
