Kathleen P. Flagler

November 1, 2021
Flagler, Kathleen P.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and little dog Jack.  Kathy was always able to see the good in people and situations, she chose to be happy and find humor instead of anger or disappointment.

Her faith in God kept her strong through the losses of many dear friends and then in her own sudden diagnosis. While Kathy had a couple of occupations in her lifetime, kindergarten teacher and business owner/secretary, the job most important to her was always to be a loving wife and mother which she did wholeheartedly, with patience, understanding, and sincere appreciation for those by her side. Those who knew her best know she would want us all to keep our heads up, be happy and have fun wherever we go and whenever we possibly can.

Kathleen is survived by Charles Flagler, beloved husband of nearly 55 years; son Alex Flagler, daughter-in-law Jessica Flagler; grandchildren Benjamin and Abigail Flagler; daughter Beth Flagler; sister Marcia Patterson; sisters-in-law, Margaret St. Hilaire and Mary Rachau; nephew and niece, David and Elizabeth Rachau.

Her memorial service will be held on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7th at 2 p.m. in the Main Street United Methodist Church, 154 Main Street, Nashua. Friends are invited to attend. Charlie and Family: Just heard the sad news from Helen Tubia that Kathy passed last spring. I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy always had a big smile and a warm heart. We had lots of good times in high school [as much as allowed in Pleasantville!]…i recall any trips to the lake and time spent riding in cars. I was honored to be her maid of honor at your wedding. Please know you are in my prayers and thoughts. Sally Graham

To Beth, Alex, Charles and family Im so very sorry for the loss of Kathy, such a wonderful woman. I remember her always with a beaming smile on her face. So much of my time as a kid spent with you all, truly were some of the best and happiest of my life. Kathy always made me feel welcome and like one of her own. I will forever be greatful for the warmth shown, the summer trips up to camp, all of the rides to soccer practice and the mall, and for thousands of bowls of "crazy mixed-up" cereal I ate (and cant forget that escarol soup). I felt a part of your family and Kathy was a second mom. She will be dearly missed. I send my condolences, love and prayers to you all and hope the memories of your most beautiful and lovely mother/wife help to get you through this difficult time. With love, Janelle, Lukas, Lenix and John
