It's 12:39 in the morning pops... I'm up thinking about you in heaven! I talk 🦜 to mom ever day. I sleep over and check on her make sure she isn't crying. It's the little things with mom when she misses you the most. When she does the laundry and your clothes are not in the laundry anymore or when she goes shopping. Did you want to go, are you sad or happy in heaven? Have you met Jesse? I have so many questions!!!! I'm really sad tonight daddy... I love you

No one to spoil her with treats anymore. Getting up in the morning is hard for Mom, I can hear her tears and wiping her nose. I know that you are no longer in PAIN... Hey, Pops!! WATCH HER FINGERS 😭

First of all I would like to thank everyone for being here today people have come from great distances even Florida and changed important plans to be here today On Thursday February 3rd 2022 at 9:48 p.m. Leo Susie Sr went home to the Lord I lost my soulmate my rock my shift my best friend my lover my everything he was a generous caring and jokester to all Leo blessed everyone He was a friend to all. He could carry on a conversation with anyone no matter what if you were interested in. He left car racing especially drag racing sports music black and white movies shows like The rifleman mash Andy Griffith Three stooges leave it to Beaver and all the old game shows. He was there for you to help whenever and whatever you needed. He would babysit even if it interfered with his camp time snow blow your driveway drive people to doctor's appointments even to Boston and he cared for our mother Claire Casey even though he was in a flare up. He could do anything around the house and would help you around the house which saved tens of thousands of dollars over the years. He quit school at the age of 15 to work full time it made in the last year to help his parents pay the mortgage while his father was in the hospital. He paid for all the tires and repairs on both of his parents' cars while they were living. We met when he was 16 on a blind date and as The story goes it was love at first sight. We got married when Leo was 17 and have been married for 50 years. We did many things in many play on many vacations the best vacation was old San Francisco down by the pier. He was not feeling good that day but we went on the cable car it was the best part of the vacation. I have many awesome memories of the places we went and the things we did one of the first dates we went on was to go to New England dragway in Epping New Hampshire to see the funny cars we went on a ride along tracks to ride hot air balloon rides concerts horse and buggy rides white water rafting bobsled rides dark side rise and many other adventures. Put the thing he liked the best was to go to microbreweries. His favorite was funky bow in Maine. I would be in this if I did not mention the camp/our vacation home. This is something we never thought we would be able to get it's a dream come true. So I will be at the camp this summer thinking of him he will be looking down on me and say _ momsie enjoy every minute of the camp enjoy your life and I will be waiting for you in heaven" I love you pops

I'm going to cook the pork with peach preserves in the crockpot the new recipe you wanted to try for Valentine's Day. Everybody got together to take me out for my birthday with was very nice . I lot of people came to the wake, I mean I lot. You were so well liked . Mike came up from Florida. I'm going to have the chocolate covered strawberries I got you for Christmas that you couldn't eat for Valentine's Day. In your memory.

Carol, Leo Jr. and Christine, you are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful man in your life. We are also fortunate that Leo became a huge part of the Casey family for over 50 years. I’m happy he lived life to the fullest and got to enjoy many of the good things . He was literally the life of the party and will be sorely missed. His joking and laughing will always be in our memories.

Leo, there has never been a man to bless this family and countless friends as you have blessed our lives in the past 50 years. You and my Dad are two men who I wanted to model my life like. There are so many great times, and difficult times I will always remember. I will never forget the sacrifices you and Carol made for me when I was not well. You took me in like I was your best friend and were there every morning to pick me up at the hospital when I finished my treatment. There are more times both funny and frightening at the same time like the annual fireworks display when one of the little rockets went astray and hit me in a very vital area!!! Luckily my girlfriend had the presence of mind to start hitting me countless times in the (vital) area and put the flames out!!! Truly life will never be the same without you. Love you very much and you will be missed

Carol, Leo and Christine, It broke my heart to hear about Leo's passing and I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a great person and he made this world a better place. I'll always remember his shenanigans and all the laughs we shared over the years. It makes me smile just thinking about his story of the "pancakes". He will always hold a special place in my heart. Love you all.

I am so terribly sorry. He will be missed by all who knew him. In all the years I've known you guys, I don't think he ever knew my name. Just called me Prego. Every time. Even when I wasn't pregnant. LoL. He will be watching over you all and he will send little hints that he is around. Just be open minded. If any of you need anything, I'm right here..

Sue and Jon Mooers said : Guest Report Feb 08, 2022 at 10:25 PM

Carol and family, Jon and I want you to know that we also miss Leo as so many others have said already, as he always went out of his way to help others, no matter what, and always with a BIG smile. I now know who owned that whistling monkey as never did for sure, but it always brought a laugh and smile when we walked around the island. I know that Treasure Island will have big shoes to fill, but know that he left us with a very special memory of him and take comfort in all of the lives that he made a little bit happier.

Have you ever seen a human peice of bacon 🥓 We, that's what my father asked my friends at my first teenage sleepover. We all said no!! LoL so he threw himself on the floor and started to sizzle and pop and move his body all around like he was a a piece of bacon in a frying pan. I tell this story all the time it never gets old. My father was so funny even on his most sickest days. Has anyone ever had a conversation with my father over the phone? " Hey, hey, he would say! " So, we would say "what!" He would then say " watch your fingers and hung up on us!!" He had a nickname for all my friends that he knew. My father was my rock as I was his too, litterly! I never seen my parents argue my entire life! My father and mother were an amazing team! My parents never made a decision without letting the other one know first and when it came to giving out a punishing if my mom wasn't around and my father grounded us. She would never go against my father. She never made us wait until he got home to punish us. My mother never wanted us to be afraid of our Dad. I can go on and on. Dad I miss you so much!!! I worry about mom so much.... Is she going to be ok, Dad. I love you pops rest easy and I know that you made your 200 brewery already in heaven

Dear Carol, We are so sorry and sad to learn of Leo's passing. Although he had been dealing with health issues for years, he remained upbeat and always had a smile for everyone. In loving memory of my best friend Leo Soucy, To me he was not just a family member, he was my best friend. He will be missed beyond words and my hart has yet another hole in it. I know that he is in a better place, drinking and telling stories with other friends and family now but for those of us left behind there’s a large void that will never be filled. He was a loving family man, family was one of the most important things to him and I’m glad I am part of that group. To Carol,Christine and Leo jr, I am so sorry for your loss. In our life’s we gather friendships, but if we are lucky some will become best friends. These are the ones that Endor all that life hits you with all the highs as well as the lows. Leo was one of those friends for me he will be missed greatly! RIP … My friend.
