Leslie was a good friend. She was the only person who kept in touch with me after I retired and we chatted often regarding her wish to retire and travel more. But more than anything she wanted to have more time to spend with her family, whom she never failed to talk about whenever we were together or talked on the phone. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I know she left a great void in your family. I will miss her greatly and miss our talks. We had planned to trade beach vacations someday when she retired. I will remember her each time I walk on the beach.

I prayed for Leslie before she was born. Heard her coos from her Aunt Virginia's downstairs porch during Summer 1959. God's blessings to her family and many friends.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to her family and friends. I was with Leslie and Carl when she found her Great, Great Grandmother at Riverview, here in Richmond. After a short walk into Mt. Calvary I showed her where my Parents and Grandparents were. It was somehow as if we were kin.

Leslie & I became good friends through her husband Carl. We met at one of my high school reunions and became fast friends. I miss her already. Her artistic photographs of Maine and her growing family will be sorely missed. I looked forward to those on Facebook. I will miss our telephone/wine visits which we did on a regular basis. We had plans of things we would do together once she was retired. To her family, I know she is leaving a huge void. You all were her world. My deepest condolences.

She was funny, kind, thoughtful and just a good person. I'll miss our Facebook exchanges and the photos of her grandchildren. She was so proud of her family. I'll miss Leslie... taken too soon.
