Lorraine D. Lancourt, 87, of Nashua, NH and North Fort Myers, FL, widow of Lionel J. “Leo” Lancourt, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Lancourt was born in Nashua on March 6, 1929, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Emmerentienne (Corriveau) Forcier. Educated in local schools, Lorraine was a graduate of Nashua High School. She had been employed in the office of Nashua Corporation for 42 years.
Lorraine was a person with a quick wit who loved animals; was a talented cook and enjoyed spending her winters at her home in North Fort Myers, Florida for the past 26 years
Lorraine and her husband Leo were married on June 11, 1949 and shared 57 wonderful years together until his passing on January 31, 2007. She was also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Gerard L. and Marian Forcier; and her brother-in-law, Leo A. Ravenelle.
Members of her family include her sister, Magella L. “Midge” Ravenelle of Venice, FL; her nieces and nephews, Linda A. Dovidio and her husband Jack, Claudia M. Dionne and her husband David, Mark L. Ravenelle, Lisa A. Anagnost and her husband Matthew, Kenneth Forcier and his wife Charlene, Steven Forcier and his wife Marcia and Kathryn Bulsa and her husband Steven; also many grandnieces and grandnephews.
