Louise M. (Lafond) Latvis, 57, of Nashua, wife of Steven J. Latvis, passed away Thursday morning, August 27, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester, NH, Louise was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Isabella H. (Koczela) Lafond. She was a graduate of Manchester Center High School and Notre Dame College.
Louise was an Art Teacher at the Auburn Village School for 30 years until 2011 when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her amazing positive spirit and courageousness throughout her battle were inspirational to all whom she touched.
Members of her family include her husband Steve, whom she married in May 1989; her son, John Steven Latvis and her daughter, Stephanie Louise Latvis. Louise also leaves a large loving family including two brothers, three sisters, three nieces and seven nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, Saturday August 29th at 12 Noon.
