   Magdalyna I. Moisei, 70, of Nashua, wife of Ivan F. Moisei, passed away Thursday evening, August 25, 2022 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.         

   Magdalyna was born in Irshava, Ukraine on August 8, 1952, a daughter of the late Ivan and Maria (Khymych) Merenych. She was educated in Ukrainian schools and earned her Master’s degree in education from Uzhhorod National University.

   A longtime educator, Magdalyna taught biology in Ukraine for over 40 years and prepared many students for successful careers in the medical field. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 2016 where she made her home in Nashua along with her daughter and son-in-law.

   Members of her family include her husband Ivan, with whom she shared 47 years together; two daughters and sons-in-law, Hanna and Richard Vandiver and Oksana and Aleksandar Stoyanov; three grandchildren, Jacob Vandiver, Angelina and Anna Stoyanova; a sister, Anna Starikova who currently resides in Belarus.

    A Graveside service will take place in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua, Monday afternoon, August 29th at 2:30 p.m. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.farwellfuneralservice.com
