Melissa Carnevale, of Hollis, passed away June 19th. She was the wife of John Lewis. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rochelle Carnevale.
Melissa was a resident of Hollis for nine years, and previously resided in Nashua, NH. Prior to living in New Hampshire, Melissa lived in Georgia for eight years. She was born and raised in Cranston, RI.
Melissa served as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Right Networks. She held an MBA from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science from Lesley University. Melissa held many positions under the umbrella of digital marketing, including running her own consulting company, MouseHelp. for several years.
Melissa was a world traveler, an avid member of her church community, and fierce advocate for many causes dear to her heart. She enjoyed her book club, her mahjong group, gardening, cooking, and any time she could relax with family or friends – at the beach, or even just poolside at home. Melissa and her husband John were the ultimate hosts for anything from a simple cookout to an extensive Christmas celebration with their combined extended families. She excelled at many things, including gingerbread houses and decorating her home. She had an unparalleled joie de vivre that infected all around her. She filled her world with beauty – a beauty that reflected her inner character.
Melissa was a beloved wife to John, and mother to Jackson Lewis and Aliya Lewis. She was a cherished sister to Peter Carnevale, Jr., Mark Carnevale, and Heather Carnevale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws, who loved and treasured her. Melissa was a beautiful, bright light that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her wake will be held Sunday, June 25th at 4-7 pm, at Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock St., Nashua, NH. Her funeral will be held Monday, June 26th, at 1 pm at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main St. in Nashua, with a reception immediately following (at the church). Flowers are welcome; alternatively, people are invited to make donations to the Front Door, a local charity dedicated to assisting families transition from crisis (escaping abuse and/or home insecurity) to self-sufficiency.
