still missing you everyday, wish you were here to show me all the great things you did. the moon will never be the same knowing you aren’t here on the other side looking at it with me. thank you for showing me true love, you were the one who showed me unconditional love, life hasn’t been the same since youve been gone. it’s not fair, i was in the middle of getting my license to build a better relationship with you, we were planning to go to France together. thank you for being the best father i could have ever asked for. you impacted me in the short time i had with you, in ways i wish i could thank you for. you were always my backbone and my safe space. you did everything a father should do, you really pushed me to be a better person. i miss it, im lost without you. you were honestly the smartest person i’ve ever met; along with the most empathetic, passionate, and kindest soul out there. you couldn’t even harm a bug. there’s things you taught me i don’t think you’d believe i’d even remember something like that at such a young age. i’m more like you than i knew, and i wish we could’ve had a longer/stronger relationship. i know you would’ve been my best friend, you still are my best friend. i love you, i miss you, i miss your voice and your laugh, your hugs. we will meet again. until then, i’ll be metal detecting and collecting, working to build my house just like you did, with many cats by my side. waiting for the signs that you’re watching over me. cookie monster
