Mildred Elizabeth Trovato, “Millie”, 84, of Nashua NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, January 12, 2016 surrounded by loved ones.

Millie is survived by her children, Yvonne Johnson and her husband Carl, of Portland, ME, Christine Hagerty and her husband Bill, of Nashua, NH, Tom Trovato and his partner Rosana Ambrosio, of Jacksonville, FL, Diane Trovato and her husband Rich Berube, of Nashua, NH her seven grandchildren Sean Hagerty and his fiancé Lindsey DeCarlo, of NYC, Brian Hagerty and his fiancé Krista Laliberte, of Stamford, CT, Katelyn Trovato and her partner Kevin Ringueberg, of Orlando, FL, Joey Trovato, of Jacksonville, FL, Casey Trovato and his partner Allie Wood, of Jacksonville, FL and Alexandra and Samantha Johnson of South Portland, ME, and her niece Judy Carter and husband Wes, of Fayetteville, NC. She was also the grandmother and great-grandmother of eight furry grandpups. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Trovato on May 27, 1995, her mother and father, Elizabeth and Joseph Pokrywka, of Poland and Baltimore, MD and her brother and his wife, Norman and Edwina Pokrywka, of Baltimore, MD.

Millie grew up in Baltimore, MD and moved all around the Mid-Atlantic after marrying Tom, who worked for many different railroads all his life. They settled in Amherst, NH for 12 years before moving to Kimberton, PA for 8 years. When Tom passed, Millie moved to Nashua, NH for the remainder of her life. With a flair for style and a zest for life, Millie enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. She loved jelly donuts and coffee, Polish food, soft serve ice cream and a good pu-pu platter. Millie is also known for her legendary and colorful jacket collection, which included fan favorites such as Blue Safari and Caribbean Queen. A sports fan, Millie loved watching the Red Sox and the Patriots and was especially fond of her favorite soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful. Millie was a woman of great faith and prayed the rosary daily. She was a 4’10” force of nature who was loved and adored by everyone she knew and even those who only heard stories about her. Above all, Millie was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ask for. She gave the best hugs and her favorite words were “I love you.” We may have lost angel here on earth, but heaven gained a saint.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at St. Louis de Gonzague Parish, 50 West Hollis Street in Nashua, NH with a reception following around 1:00PM at The Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH.
