Boissoneau, Mildred M. ''Meg''

Mildred M. Boissoneau, 88, of Merrimack, NH, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by her family.

Mildred, known as “Meg” to many, was born in Manhattan, New York May 24, 1927, a daughter to the late William P. Heintz and Margaret (Ducey) Heintz.  She grew up and was educated in Manhattan, New York.

She believed in working hard while enjoying life.  Years ago, Meg worked at Honeywell Corporation with a team of the United States Air Force and NASA building circuits for Apollo 11, which landed on the moon.  Later, she entered into retail management where Meg made strides for women in the workforce.  In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, traveling, and reading. Meg also enjoyed watching trivia games shows (she was able to answer most questions correctly even before the contestants did) and watching baseball…especially if the New York Yankees were playing.  We will always remember her witty sense of humor, her intelligence, her strength, and her big heart. Meg touched so many lives and was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Meg was preceded by two of her sons Michael T. Smith who died in 1994, Murray B. Smith in 2004, and granddaughter Suellen Smith in 1982.

Surviving are her loving daughter and son in-law Claire and Peter Duncanson, son Joseph P. Smith Sr., beloved grandchildren Jo Ellen, Joseph Jr., Melissa, Michael II, Peter II, Jennifer, Sarah, Brent, Jade, and six great grandchildren who she treasured dearly; also nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Thursday evening, October 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home, Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
