I am going to miss Nellie's humor, kindness and laugh. He always complimented me on my cooking, especially my Mussels Marinara! He was so good to Joel, growing up and also a great "Poppie" to Jared, Conor and Kyle. Rest in Peace, Nelson

I am going to miss "Nellie" I have known him for 23 years, ans he was my go-to Guy for any small engine questions I had. In all the many years that I have known him, he almost never told me the same story twice. An interesting Man, living an interesting life.

Nelson will never be forgotten by anyone whoever knew him because of his uniqueness of character, unconventional ways of dealing with stuff, and his ability to keep a youthful perspective of the world. Nelson's great success in life was in how many friends he made! He was always there for help for a friend in need, and he was fun to share a beer and story (in whatever order). Nelson was the type of friend who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. You'll be missed by so many!

Nellie, There are no words to express how much you'll be missed. You've given us so many memories to enjoy - You're truly one of a kind, and we're so grateful we had you as part of our family for all these years.

Nellie, you will be missed more than I can imagine. I will never forget the travels we did together, all over country, fishing those "secret spots, but most of all, just hanging out at the house during holidays and so many more. So much so that our kids called him Uncle Nellie. One of the most thoughtful persons that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and will be sorry missed.

God Bless you my dear cousin Nels who I just started to really know during our recent phone phone conversations a few months ago. I’m so happy I got to visit with you .
