PELLETIER, NORMAND R.

Normand Robert Pelletier, born July 23, 1946 of Hudson NH, passed away on October 15th, 2022 at the age of 76. He was surrounded by his family in a room full of love.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Nadine (Daigle) Pelletier, his brother Roland and wife Sharrel Pelletier, his sister Sandra Pelletier, his sister Susan and her husband Randy Turmel, and brother in law Richard Nixon.

He was a dedicated loving father to five children, fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson Zachary Saucier, sister Beatrice and husband Frank Godbois, sister Linda Nixon, and brother Michael and wife Judy Pelletier, and son in-laws Joe Yoksh, Paul Taschereau, and Russ Saucier.

Normand was a vessel of love and a friend to all. He was an avid golfer who genuinely enjoyed the gift of life. He always prioritized his family, providing many cherished memories with summers at Goose Pond, road trips to Florida and the Dakotas, and adventures to Canada and Alaska.  His most admirable accomplishment was showing his children and grandchildren how to love and be loved; the greatest gift one can do for another. He treated all who came into his presence with respect and dignity and always found the good in others. He greeted everyone with warmth and the most genuine of smiles. Normand was always willing to lend a helping hand, eager to be of assistance. He will be remembered not by his earthly achievements but by his deep expression of love that will continue to grow from generation to generation.  His soul has now moved on to a peacefulness only the hands of God can provide, for which his family is eternally grateful.

Back when I was the owner of Rolands Restaurant, Norm used to stop by on most Fridays to pick up some food. Instead of just picking it up and leaving, he would always come inside and hug me and we would catch up. When I left New Hampshire right before COVID, I told him I'd eventually come back and we would catch up again, but I was very saddened to hear that he has passed. My condolences to the family, he was a great man.

To the Pelletier Family Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. Many fond memories of our younger days with the Pelletier Family. Norman and my Dad Joe always loved playing cribbage together, what great laughs they had. Just one of many wonderful memories to cherish. Norman will be greatly missed.

I did not realize that Norm was sick. ALS is a nasty disease. I had another good friend die due to ALS. I knew Norm through golf and spent many rounds of golf playing with him and against him. Also great trips to Myrtle Beach and FL with him and others who were his friends. Also a friend of his brother Michael for the same reason. As a property manager by trade during my lifetime, I used Hudson Paving on many occasions. I always found Norm exactly as you stated "a vessel of love and friend to all, he greeted everyone with warmth and a smile". I have not seen Norm for many years. I was very sad to read of his passing in the paper. My thoughts and prayers are with his extended family. I know he will be greatly missed. Peter Chaloner

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Pelletier family. Norm brought such joy to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed. This quote was shared with me by a friend and I share it with you now: Grief never ends….but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a Lack of Faith…It is the price of Love.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.

Thinking of the entire Pelletier family. I have fond memories of Mr. Pelletier from my younger years growing up with Shawna and again as I was older and seeing what a wonderful grandfather he was to Shaina, Zach, Gabby and Lexi. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. He was a terrific man and I know his legacy will continue in the strong family he raised. Sending my thoughts and prayers.
