Oswald Lloyd Allen, 67, of Hooksett, NH, husband of the late Pauline J. Moreau, passed away at his home, Saturday, May 20, 2017 after a brief illness.
A native of Jamaica, Oswald was born on August 31, 1949, a son of Linnett (Rattray) Allen and the late Charles Allen. He resided in Denham Farm, Parish of Manchester, Jamaica for many years before immigrating to the United States in the mid 1970s. Mr. Allen worked as a self- employed truck driver.
In his leisure time, Oswald enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, traveling and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Members of his family include his mother, Linnett Allen; his three children, Lloyd O. Allen and his wife, Carmella Leslie-Allen, David E. Allen and his wife, Kelli Searles-Allen, and Julia Goode and her husband Hasan; his grandchildren, Julian Goode, Kharia Goode, Nysi Goode, Dominic O’Neil, Miguel Leslie and LouCynthia Allen; great-granddaugther, Rosie Leslie; three brothers, Clarence, Tony and Roy Allen; five sisters, Barbara Ann, Faye, Mavis, Dawn and Beverly Allen; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, Oswald was predeceased by his wife Pauline, who passed away January 12, 2016; and twin sisters, Audrey and Sissy.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, 71 Derry Road, Rte. 102, Hudson, NH, Monday morning, June 5th at 11 o’clock.
