Patricia L. Carlin, 78, of Hudson, NH, wife of Robert F. Carlin, passed away at her home, Saturday morning, July 13, 2019 after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Carlin was born in Malden, Massachusetts on March 1, 1941, a daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Cavanaugh) Raymond. During her early years, Patricia and her family resided in Medford and Melrose, MA and was a graduate of Melrose High School Class of 1959.
Patricia and Robert raised their four daughters in Chelmsford, MA where they lived for 32 years. Upon retiring she and Bob were snowbirds, living 6 months of the year in Port Charlotte, FL. Pat loved being active; walking daily, doing water aerobics and playing bocce. Attending musicals was a favorite pastime. She was an avid reader and impeccable seamstress. Pat was very social and more than anything she loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to raising her family, Pat had been employed as a secretary to the Dean of Middlesex Community College for many years.
Pat and Bob have been residing in Hudson, NH since 2017. The family would like to thank the staff at Amedysis for their attentive care to their mother over the last year.
Members of her family include her beloved husband Bob, with whom she would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on July 16th; four daughters and their spouses, Donna and Stephen Fitzgibbon of Nashua, Linda J. Carlin of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Gail C. and William Hadley, and Cheryl A. and Robert White all of Londonderry, NH; six grandchildren, Nicole White, Joseph Hadley, Allison Rooney and her husband Samuel, Alexander Hadley, Brayden Crosta and Dani Crosta; also nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia was predeceased by her sister, Ethel Mae Bagorio.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Wednesday morning, July 17th from 10 to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Her Life will follow in the funeral home at 11 o’clock.
