PALUCCHI, PAUL P

Paul P. Palucchi, 72, a lifelong Nashua resident, passed away at his home, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, after a period of declining health.

Born in Nashua on July 23, 1952, he was a son of the late Roland F. and Lottie (Descoteau) Palucchi. Paul was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1970.

Paul would like to let you know that his work here is done.  He received a call that he could not refuse and there would be no return.  It does come with a huge bonus, a reunion with family, friends and pets he has not seen in a long time.  We will remember his smile, warmth, energy, kindness and never ending stories.  He loved his music, building model cars, as well as detailing and taking care of his own vehicles.

Paul had many jobs over his lifetime, including DJ’s in the 80’s, working for Alexander’s Supermarket (where he was known as “Moose”) and Shaw’s supermarket in receiving and shipping for many years.  He also worked for Christian Party Rental of Hollis and Towers Motor Parts and Bond Motor Parts both of Nashua.

Members of his family include his beloved wife of 32 years, Cheryl A. (Thompson) Palucchi, whom he married on September 26, 1992 at the Parish of The Resurrection; his brother, Roland A. Palucchi; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Vivian Thompson; also brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill & Stephanie Thompson, Cindy Thompson & Paul Campbell and David & Michele Thompson; nieces & nephews – Charles Berry, Allyssa & James Bijeol, Victoria & Jarod Gonsalves, Mikayla & Colby Locke, Makenzie Thompson, Zachary Babb & Nora Sauer, Danielle & Dennis Lloyd and Sarah & Noah Winter, grandnieces and grandnephews – Madison, Evelyn, Rosalyn, Oliver, Vienna, Lincoln, Lillian, Eden, Jasper, Meredith, Dean, Silas, Micah, Hannah & Ezra and numerous cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Sunday, March 9th from 3 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Monday, March 10th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson. Family and friends are invited to meet at the church. Donations may be made in his memory to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064. Paul and Cheryl have been our good next-door neighbors since their marriage. We have been very sad since we heard of Paul's passing. We will miss him especially in the warmer weather when we often visited and enjoyed his company. We will attend his funeral service on March 10th. May he rest in peace, and may Cheryl be comforted knowing he is in a better place.

Paul & I worked together at Christian Party Rental. I'll always remember his fun demeanor. He loved to entertain us with his music. He never finished a single song. We had great laughs for sure. RIP my friend.

Paul has been a member of our family for over 45 years. I always looked forward to seeing him whenever I returned home for a visit. He has been a part of every major event in our family, and he has been my dear brother-in-law's 'brother' since 8th grade. He was witty, smart, kind, and always made one feel as if he was so happy to be in your company. I shall miss him, and our family get togethers will be missing one more family member. Love, Nancy Oakes

Paul and I have been like brothers since 8th grade, and talked several times per week, as recently as Monday. I’ll miss his calls, his wit and especially his friendship. He was a member of our wedding party and along with Cheryl and his dad, attended many of our holiday and summer parties. Those were great times that we will greatly miss. He is now back with his mom and dad, who he obviously missed dearly. Godspeed and rest in peace friend. Love, Noreen and Don Canney.
