Pauline Jean Moreau, 60, of Hooksett, NH, wife of Oswald Allen, passed away Tuesday morning, January 12, 2016 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, after a brief illness.
A resident of Hooksett for the past seven years, she was born in Nashua on May 10, 1955, a daughter of the late Edward and Clara (Bosse) Moreau. Pauline grew up in Hudson and was a graduate of Alvirne High School. She furthered her education at Sawyer College in California where she earned an Associate’s Degree.
Pauline had been employed with the Kmart department store in Hooksett as a customer service representative and later worked for the Manchester Union Leader as a mail carrier for several years.
In her leisure time, Pauline enjoyed crocheting, craft shows, relaying with her children and grandchildren.
Members of her family include her husband Oswald Allen of Hooksett; three children and their spouses, Lloyd Jr. and Carmella Allen, David and Kelli Allen and Julia and Hasan Goode; six grandchildren, Julian Goode, Kharia Goode, Nysi Goode, Dominic O’Neil, Miguel Leslie and LouCynthia Allen; her sisters, Katherine Moreau and Beatrice Cooper; and her aunt, Rachel Theriault.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII Parish at St. John The Evangelist Church, 27 Library Street in Hudson, Friday morning at 10:30. Family and friends are invited to the church Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
