Rest in peace Skip. I am just hearing of your passing. Annette and children, I am sorry for your loss. Skip was just the greatest person. In my 13 years at the lodge, I so looked forward to the events when I knew Skip and Tim were in the kitchen. Skip, thank you for your humor and your patience with answering so many of my questions. You will be missed by many people. Fondly, Maureen

Phil (because you let me call you that), you will be sorely missed. You were such a big presence at the water company and boy, didn't we all have fun! I know how much your family meant to you and what a void they now have in their lives. Annette and Philip, prayers and hugs to your family. Skip/Phil was one of a kind. Rest in peace, buddy.

Skipper, rest in peace, thank you for all of the time that you gave to our club, Horse Pond Fish and Game Club. You made us a better place and club. We will miss your cooking and those special "camp beans". You will be greatly missed by all of the "guys".

As a kid I knew "Skippa" (as my dad always called him) being the best pal my dad ever had. I was famous for being a bit of a smart a$$ in my youth, but I was no match for Skip and his wisdom. He was quick with his wit and always put me in my place. I remember 6:05 watching wrestling on TBS with Joseph (Phil) in the back room. On occasion I would spend the night and wake to the smell of his potato pancakes. I remember playing Jarts in his yard and surviving.... I remember always camping with Skip and his family. Tossing horseshoes on Labor Day weekend for Jerry's Kids. He was such a good soul and a huge part of my childhood memories. If God needed someone to rely on, he now has the right man for the job! Rest in Peace 🙏

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Skip, you will never be forgotten. God Bless!
