
Priscilla Ann Blanchard, 77, of West Newfield, Maine and formerly of Nashua, NH for many years, passed away at her home, early Saturday morning, June 7, 2025.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 21, 1947, she was the third child of the late Wesley Laurence and Doris Estelle (Powell) Blanchard. She arrived minutes after her twin sister, Pauline.
Priscilla was a quiet child who preferred to sit in a corner and read. As she grew older Priscilla loved mystery stories and wrote poetry. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, online word games and crocheting. Priscilla made many lovely blankets for her friends and family. She was also passionate about feeding the hungry, especially children, and donated funds to support those charitable groups.
Priscilla graduated from Coe-Brown Northwood Academy in 1965. In 1966 Priscilla settled in Nashua, NH where she worked at Sanders Associates for many years and retired from Harris Corporation.
She raised her three children as a single mom. In 1980 Priscilla met her life partner, Tom Livingston, a long-time resident of Nashua, NH. They spent several of their retirement years in North Carolina before settling in Maine to be closer to relatives.
Priscilla is survived by Thomas Livingston, her partner of 45 years; her children, Tina (Blanchard) Lagasse of Nashua, NH, Scott Blanchard Sr of Nashua, NH and Dori (Blanchard) Majauckas of Derry, NH; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lauraine York of Dover, NH and Pauline Blanchard of Burleson, Texas; her brothers, Wesley Blanchard of Northwood, NH and David Blanchard of Randolph, NH; her life-long friend, Dottie Matthews of Hudson, NH; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her brother, Charles Blanchard of Northwood, NH.
Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the church at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis Street, Nashua.
