I am saddened by the news of Renee’s passing. I worked the 3-11 shift at St. Joe’s and interacted with Renee many times over the years. I enjoyed her candor and her sense of humor. After she retired she was an active participant with the monthly breakfasts, which was always great fun. She will be missed but remembered ❤️

Our world is a little less vibrant now, and heaven has a brand new beautiful and loving Angel. I will miss Renee very much. Even though geography has kept us miles apart as adults, the wonderful childhood and teenage memories that we share are as enjoyable as they once were so many years ago. I remember the fun times that I enjoyed with Renee, Billy and Rusty like it was yesterday. Dorothy and Chet were always so willing to allow me to join their crowd of kids. What an amazing, fun and loving family you all were. I loved being with all of you. Now it's the second generation and the fun and love continue. Renee loved being a Grandma. She was happy reading bed time stories every night, over the phone, to her grand babies in Covina, CA and reporting all of the wonderful accomplishments of her children and grand children to me every time we connected on fb or by phone. She reported all of those cute little conversations with grandchildren that are flowers on the tree of life. Having been a bridesmaid in Renee and Terry's wedding, I saw first hand how it all began. She wore her Mom's lace wedding gown and looked stunning as she took Terry's hand at the altar and never let go. I was stunned when I saw the pictures of Abby in that same dress with the same loving look in her eyes so many years later. You are all so blessed to be a part of what Renee knew was most important in life...a loving and fun close-knit family! Terry, Bill, Abby, Michael, Rusty, Mary Ann, and family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers always. Your family's angel will always be looking over all of you. Fly free sweet Renee. I will never forget you sweet "Cuz"!!
