Richard Andre Hall, 74, of Sierra Vista, AZ former longtime resident of Nashua, NH and Ogden, UT, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 25, 1947 in Boston, MA to his late parents, Richard Nelson and Theresa P. (Levesque) Hall, and was raised and educated in Nashua. After graduating from Woburn High School with the Class of 1965, Richard proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
After his service to the country, Richard’s career path took him in the direction of computer sciences. He worked for many years as an Information Technology consultant, TCIM and TSIEM administrator for IBM and as an IT deployment systems administrator with State Street Global Investors. Richard obtained his Bachelor’s degree in computer science with Trinity College graduating with the Class of 2001.
Richard enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures; he loved photography, classic cars, aviation and trains. He was also certified in aviation mechanics and from the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration. Richard was the beloved patriarch of his family, who will fondly be loved, cherished, and missed by all.
Richard is survived by his dear wife Nancy (Armstrong) Cleaver-Hall of Sierra Vista, AZ and formerly of Nashua. He is also survived by his beloved children; his daughter Jessica Jones of Ogden, UT, his daughter Carrie Hall of Las Vegas, NV, his son Richard Hall of Sierra Vista, AZ, and his daughter Katie Hall of Nashua. Richard is also the loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren; Raven, Anissa, Wesoly, Zenith, Tristen, Ethan and Abigail, and great-grandfather to Aria and Willow. He is also survived by his step-daughter Diane Cleaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Nancy A. Delany.
Visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4 – 7 PM at the Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, NH. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10 AM at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua.
